By turning your phone into a mobile hotspot, your family and friends can use your connection when they don't have access to a public
Wi-Fi network or cellular network of their own. Here's how to set it up:For iPhone:
- Go to Settings, tap Cellular, then Personal Hotspot. For newer phones, just go to Personal Hotspot. Then simply tap the slider next to Allow Others to Join.
For Android:
- Open the Settings app, tap the Network & Internet option, select Hotspot & Tethering, then tap
Wi-Fi hotspot. Configure your hotspot and then turn it on.
