Unable to relax, Genos challenges the strongest, often with mixed results. But there is no denying that Genos deserves his S-Class ranking. His aim is to one day surpass his master Saitama and whilst not there yet, the hero for justice has come a long way. Therefore, it's time to take a look at how Genos stacks up against other heroes from the series.
10 Can't Beat - Tank Top Master
With muscles so big he makes a tank top look good, the S-Class Rank 16 hero is a force to be reckoned with. Possessing inhuman strength and tanktop magical abilities, Tanktop Master has some impressive feats. The hero can cause powerful tremors just by punching the ground and fans have seen him lift vast chunks of concrete and hurl them at an alien spacecraft. During his fight with the hero hunter Garou, Tanktop initially overwhelmed his opponent with his power before falling prey to Garou's superior technique. Despite this strength, Tanktop Master would not defeat Genos, as the demon cyborg dominated Garou before S-Class hero Bang interrupted. Following his upgrades, Genos' abilities far outclass that of Tanktop Master.
9 Can Beat - Flashy Flash
There's quick, and then there's Flashy Flash. The S-Class Rank 13 Hero is arguably the fastest member of the Hero Association and can handle a Dragon-level threat all by himself. Genos possesses incredible speed and strength but the speedy ninja is on another level. Flashy Flash has fought and defeated two Dragon-level threats simultaneously, a rare feat even amongst the strongest heroes. Genos has come a long way, but demon-level threats can still prove difficult for Saitama's loyal student. This fight would be over in a flash.
Metal Bat is an exceptionally powerful character, demonstrated by his S-Class ranking. Armed with a devastating swing and indomitable will, Bat has proven capable of taking down Demon-level threats and damaging Dragon-level disasters. However, although powerful and possessing serious firepower, Metal Bat is limited. He is not a particularly skilled martial artist, as proven in his fight with Garou, and he doesn't possess incredible speed. Genos has enough firepower to take Bat down and has the ability to fly. If Metal Bat can't land a blow, then the fight goes to Genos.
7 Can Beat - Superalloy Darkshine
An overwhelmingly powerful hero, Superalloy Darkshine is the S-Class Rank 11 Hero of the Hero Association and possibly the most durable character in theOne Punch Man universe—excluding Saitama).

With a physique that would make Tanktop Master jealous, Darkshine is capable of fighting the strongest monsters. Perhaps his most impressive ability is his near-perfect durability which allows him to tank hits from Dragon-level threats without being damaged. Even Genos lacks the firepower and weaponry to take down this hero.
6 Can't Beat - Fubuki
With incredible psychic abilities, Fubuki is the B-Class Rank 1 hero whose powers far exceed her ranking. An extremely talented esper, she is capable of blocking Dragon-level attacks, creating powerful psychic barriers, and can fly using her psychic abilities. Despite these extraordinary powers, what holds the esper back is her lack of confidence and self-belief. Growing up in the shadow of her sister Tatsumaki, the B-Class hero doubts her own capabilities. This lack of conviction would surely cost her in a battle with Genos, with the cyborg capitalizing on the slightest hesitation.
5 Can Beat - Sweet Mask
Sweet Mask is the A-Class Rank 1 hero who crushes monsters and looks good whilst doing it. Don't let his ranking fool you, the handsome hero chooses to remain atop of A-Class in order to prevent weaklings from rising too high. The truth is, Sweet Mask's abilities are similar to that of an S-Class Hero. He claims to be stronger than S-Class hero Atomic Samurai and fought alongside other S-Class heroes during an alien invasion. He has demonstrated immense speed and strength and would be too much for Genos to handle.
4 Can't Beat - Puri Puri Prisoner
Blessed with incredible strength, Puri-Puri Prisoner is well-deserving of his S-Class rank. Capable of taking down demon-level threats and surviving Dragon-level attacks, the hero is definitely strong. His abilities have led to him being praised by Speed-O-Sonic Sound, a powerful villain. The hero is fast, durable, and possesses special moves that only enhance his already impressive powers. However, Puri-Puri Prisoner openly admits that he is the weakest in S-Class. Furthermore, he was thoroughly outclassed by Deep Sea King, a demon-level threat that Genos almost defeated. Whilst strong, Puri-Puri Prisoner can not compete with the Demon Cyborg.
3 Can Beat - Bang
Undoubtedly the greatest Martial Artist in theOne Punch Manuniverse, Bang has the skills to defeat any opponent. Despite his advanced age, Bang is physically stronger and faster than almost every other hero.

The man destroyed meteorite fragments with his bare hands, severely injured Garou the hero hunter, and defeated several Dragon-level threats. Rising to S-Class Rank 3, Bang epitomizes everything a hero should be. Genos may have destructive firepower, but Bang has the speed and technique to take him down.
2 Can't Beat - King
Armed with the looks of a hero and the ability known as The King Engine, many civilians and heroes believe King to be the strongest man in the world. Holding down the S-Class Rank 7 position, King is considered an asset to the Hero Association. In truth, the hero is no stronger than your average joe. And The King Engine? That's just the sound of King's heartbeat caused by extreme anxiety. Fans ofOne Punch Manknow that King's only talent is gaming. If confronted by Genos, he would be instantly defeated.
1 Can Beat - Atomic Samurai
The greatest swordsman in the show, Atomic Samurai is a proud and powerful hero capable of facing and defeating Dragon-level threats. Fans ofOne Punch Man have witnessed Atomic Samurai overwhelm Melzargard, a Dragon-level alien who could not keep up with the speed of his sword. When power scaling, Atomic Samurai can be compared to Bang, with the two masters always showing respect for the other. A fully upgraded Genos is a formidable opponent, but it's likely he would fall before realizing Atomic Samurai had drawn his sword.
