Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremonies:

Friday, May 10, 2024 at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2 p.m.

To qualify for the President's List, a student must have completed at least 12 credit hours of college-level courses during the term and earned a GPA of 4.0.

The spring ceremony may last 2 hours 30 minutes. The fall ceremony is often closer to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Graduates do not need a ticket. Children 2 and under are considered lap children and do not need a ticket to enter the ceremonies as long as they are not taking a seat. When students are claiming their tickets, graduates will also be able to request up to an additional 5 EXTRA TICKETS.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

In order to graduate from Cleveland State University, students must earn a minimum of 120 credit hours.

Qualified undergraduate students entering Cleveland State University may be able to complete a Baccalaureate degree in three years. Completing a three-year degree typically requires that students start the first year at CSU with credits from one or more of the following: Advanced Placement credits.

What GPA makes the president's list? ›

The President's List. The president's list is an award for undergraduates who achieve a 4.0 GPA. Unlike the dean's list, part-time students are eligible for the president's list. The award is issued each semester.

The in-state tuition and fees for 2020-2021 were $2,602, and out-of-state tuition and fees were $8,746.

Ohio Stadium opens at 10:00 a.m. on commencement day. The ceremony begins at 12:00 p.m. and will last approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Two commencement ceremonies will occur at the Red Bull Arena on May 15, 2024. The first ceremony will begin at 10:00 am, and the second will start at 2:00 pm.

Admission tickets are not required, but we ask for graduates to please limit their number of guests to no more than six so that we can accommodate everyone.
